Since the RTA began in 1993, we have spent the majority of our resources on restoring the focal point of the Rougham site- the Control Tower.

- RTA formed - Replacement doors fitted on Southern and Eastern walls |
| 1994 |
- Concrete roof temporarily sealed - Replacement roof balcony railings and external staircase fitted |
| 1995 |
- Control room ceiling cracks epoxy sealed, and RSJ beams installed. These were necessary to support the weight of six tons of asphalt roof and the proposed replacement 'glass house'. - Barge boards, guttering and downpipes replaced - 60 panes of window glass replaced |

- South wall rendering repaired, and the wall sealed and painted - All internal walls and ceilings sandblasted to remove old paint - Electric lighting replaced and installed to all rooms |

- Start of internal paint program (see below) - All conduits painted black |
| 1998 |
- Balcony asphalted and supports installed - Interior doors rehung and locks serviced |
| 1999 |
- All exterior walls sealed and repainted |
| 2000 |
- Electical heating installed in signal and control rooms |
| 2001 |
- Power supply points installed in Officers' lavatory and rest room - Switch room painted and wooden floor installed, complete with hand made copy of original door and frame |

- Glasshouse construction started - Radio room secured, initial survey undertaken |
| 2003 |
- Glasshouse construction completed - Two more Nissen huts secured; shipped to Rougham in November '03 |
| 2004 |
- Nissen huts rebuilt - Radar room restoration commenced |
| 2005 |
- Nissen huts officially opened in August '05 - Radar room completed Erection of three more flagpoles to join the original one in the Tower grounds |
